  • Valentine's Day 2024

Love is in the air—let’s celebrate by looking good.

We pushed this project in an exciting direction—one I’d not seen in my 5+ years with the brand. Captivating digital projections, crisp photography, and messaging that reinforced the value of connection in the modern age.

  • adidas Basketball: Dame 7 EXTPLY

Dame Time is in effect on and off the court.

One of several campaigns supporting Damian Lillard’s adidas sneaker franchise that I had the pleasure of working on. As an NBA fan, I get extra joy out of working on basketball projects.

  • adidas Originals: Velour Collection

    Soft life, softer outfits.

Being on the team that laid the foundation for the now-regular “trend campaigns” is one of my proudest contributions to adidas. We partner with stellar photographers + stylists, and there’s nothing like building a concept from scratch.

  • adidas Originals: NMD_R1

A new take on the iconic silhouette.

If you’re local to Portland, you’ll be stoked to know we shot this at the Lloyd Center. (I know, right??) The challenge here: put a fresh twist on a very well-known sneaker. I love where we landed.

  • adidas Soccer: Club Partner Infographic

A sports brand at heart, always.

A designer on the team and I crafted an updated infographic that conveyed the essential features and benefits of being a club partner without making your eyes glaze over. Nice.

  • adidas Originals: 2000 Luxe Collection

    [insert Y2K-adjacent pun here]

Locking in on a decade always offers a good opportunity for memorable messaging. It was a blast to play with type treatments and lean into the 00s energy on this campaign.

  • adidas Football: Mahomes x Super Bowl LVII

There’s elite, then there’s Patrick Mahomes.

Always something to celebrate with this once-in-a-generation QB—here, it was a victory over the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII and earning two-time MVP honors.

  • adidas Originals: NMD x Star Wars

Let the force be with . . . shoes? (Sorry.)

Above line aside, I’m proud each time I get to craft copy for a collaboration. In this case, NMD sneakers paying homage to the classic sci-fi franchise.

  • adidas Originals: B/W Style Feature

Back to basics is never bad.

I’m a firm believer in ensuring copy always complements the concept—that means keeping it clear, engaging and cutting the fluff. In both effective copy and classic style, sometimes less is more.

  • adidas CRM: Top Sneaker Picks

Small tweaks with a big impact.

Sometimes adding a fresh headline and a little motion is all you need. On top of building campaigns from scratch, our team updated regularly-sent emails to ensure a consistently contemporary brand aesthetic.

  • adidas Originals: Fall Outerwear

    Layers > everything.

A full-family campaign requires unique considerations—most relevant in this case, messaging and shoot direction that can serve a range of ages and gender expressions.

  • adidas Promotions: Labor Day Sale

    Long weekend = Savings

“Informative” and “engaging” don’t have to be enemies. Here, and in other promotional briefs, the goal was to get readers intrigued enough to click through—something good copy always helps achieve.

  • adidas Basketball: D.O.N. Issue #3

    A new drop for a certified bucket-getter.

Tapping into the story behind a product helps present it in a more intriguing way. You can feel the difference. This colorway honored the open skies of his former team’s home turf.

  • adidas Football: Trevor Lawrence NFL Draft

    First pick since day one.

An email celebrating Trevor Lawrence’s top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. In addition to hyping the announcement, we offered the chance for two lucky people to win signed adidas product.
