Hey again 👋🏻. I

t’s still me, Brandon.

I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and spent the first half of my life between there and East Tennessee. After wrapping up college in 2009, I made my way out to the West Coast to attend graduate school, unsure if I’d brave it longer than one semester on the other side of the country.

. . .

That first decade really flew, huh?

I stayed fairly busy, to be honest. During those years, I worked for a nonprofit housing program, ran the Los Angeles marathon, rode my bicycle across the country (those very hot two weeks in Texas were no joke), was awarded a literary fellowship for poetry, and began my copywriting career.

As a professional writer, I have spent years gaining experience in a range of industries—from a groundbreaking floral startup to “the brand with the 3-stripes”—using my skills as a quick learner and natural collaborator to jump right in and contribute.

I currently call Portland, Oregon home and am always happy to meet with other writers and creative folks around town. When I’m not slinging copy, you’ll find me embroidering recycled clothing, going on frustratingly long walks, or being smothered on the couch by one of my three cats: Hammi, Wyatt + Little Bear.

And in case I haven’t gotten the chance to say it yet — I’m very excited to be working together.
